Quotes

 

Quotes are used as an estimation tool for a customer that is wanting work done but is still in the Shopping Phase. 

 

• Click on Quotes from the Main Menu

 

• New Quote

 

• Enter Customer Information (It will pull in the Customer Information if you have already entered it in your Customer List)
• By adding in the VIN it will make it easier to add in Parts and Labor that is specific to the Customers Vehicle.

 

 

• From Here you will be able to start building the quote. You are able to add:
  • Labor
  • Parts
  • Shop Fees
  • Sublet
  • Canned Job

 

 

If there needs to be more than just one vehicle issue in the left hand menu there is a Vehicle Issues button. This will give you the option to add new, rename or drag and drop them in the order that you need. 

 

 

 

• Once the Quote is finished click Quote List and it will save the Quote into the Quote List for future use.

If the customer chooses to go with the Quote that has been built, click on "Convert to RO" and it will change the Quote to an RO that will show on the main WIP page. 

 

 

Once the quotes have been converted into an RO they will remain on the Quotes list and will not be able to be deleted. It will also display the RO number beside the vehicle for easy reference. Clicking on the RO number will open a new tab that goes directly into the RO.
