Converting a Quote to an RO

 

A Quote is an estimate for work that a customer is needing done. It is better to create a Quote first then change it over to an RO once the customer has decided to approve the work to be done. With our new Quote section you are able to quickly convert from a Quote to an RO. 

***Once a Quote has been converted to an RO it CANNOT be changed back.***

 

To convert a Quote

• From the Main Menu on the WIP screen Click Quotes

 

Find the Quote you are needing to convert and open it

• Click on "Convert to RO" 

 

**If there is no Year, Make or Model in the quote the system will ask for one to be entered before it will allow you to proceed but if there if there is already a vehicle in the quote it will go directly into a new RO.****

 

Once the quote is converted to an RO it cannot be changed back. If you go back into the quotes section you will see that the quote is now a yellow color and has the RO number beside the vehicle. This way you can easily see what has been approved and converted to an RO.
