Marking an RO as No Approval

 

In Shop Boss, a Repair Order cannot be deleted.  This is to prevent information from being deleted and hidden. 

However, you can remove a repair order from every report and every list by simply changing the repair order Type to "No Approval". 

The ROs that are marked as No Approval are still able to be found in the Find an RO function as well as the No Approval Report. 

 

To mark a Repair Order "No Approval,"  from the Main Menu

click on the Repair Order that needs to be removed from your list. 

   

 

 

 

Once the Repair Order is open, at the top right of page there is the RO Status and the RO Type.

Change the RO Status to Inspection then change the RO Type to No Approval.

(RO Status must be in something OTHER than Final or Closed in order for it to now show on any reports or in the customers history.)

 

 

****Make sure the RO Status is set to Inspection****

 

Click Save and Exit on the Repair Oder
