Parts ordering always starts with an open Repair Order so go there first.
In the blue vertical Repair Order Menu you will see two buttons for parts ordering. The first says Parts Ordering. This is the button that links our integrated ordering process so that you can electronically order parts for the vehicle and the repairs you're doing from within Shop Boss without ever calling the supplier. If you click on this button, a new window will show up providing you with three or four online parts ordering systems. Shop Boss integrates with Epicor, Nexpart, Worldpac, and Parts Tech. Each of these works slightly differently.
With Epicor and Nexpart, new browser windows will launch and allow you access to your suppliers information through the interface.
Using Epicor - once you find the needed parts, add them to Shopping Cart
At the bottom right will be a yellow button that says Transfer. Clicking the Transfer button will send the information from Epicor to Shop Boss to be added directly to the Repair Order. Epicor Video
Using Nexpart -once you've added to the shopping cart there is a button that says "Send Cart to shop management system." - Video
Using PartsTech - a new window will also open for you to search the parts you're looking for. PartsTech Video
PartsTech will show up to 5 of your suppliers with their parts and prices side by side. This will enable you to see which supplier is going to give you the best price and part on hand that you're looking for.
Using Worldpac - a new browser window open and connect to the Worldpac speed dial application. Once you are connected, right click on a part and then select export.
This will transfer the part from the Worldpac speed dial interface to Shop Boss.
