Changing the date on a Repair Order

In an effort to prevent fraud within the shop, the Date In cannot be changed but the Closing Dates (status date) can be changed by shop Personnel, based on the permissions for each employees login account. This permission is only available to employees in Full Mode. To check each employees full mode permissions you will want to go to:

Settings

Employees and select the employees you need to check permissions for. Once you are in their employee file you will want to choose the blue Permissions button at the bottom and it will be in the second column and will be the 3rd on down from the top. 

 

To change the RO Status date,  from the Work-In-Process Menu click on:

  • Find an RO
  • Type in the Repair Order number
  • Click on it to open
  • At top-right of the closed Repair Order, find the Status Date(this is the day that the repair order was closed) 
  • To change it, click on the date itself
  • A box will populate requesting a password to validate the users permission to change the date
  • Select the new date and click Save.
