Shop Boss includes a Parts pricing Matrix to allow Shop Boss users to consistently price any parts that are add to a repair order. The Parts Pricing Matrix is broken down into categories along with parts cost and multiplication factors to achieve a markup part price.

For each category there will be several lines that include a starting part cost and ending part cost and a multiplication factor. So when a part is sold, that has a category of general part, and the cost of that part is $3.50 and the Matrix says to mark up a part that cost $3.50 by a factor of 2.5, the selling price will then be $8.75 (3.50 x 2.5 = 8.75)

We have included a very standardized Part Pricing Matrix within the system to start you off. Please feel free to make changes as seen fit to it.
