How to Delete a Payment

 

Be sure to check with your Credit Card Processor to make sure the transaction was successfully refunded. If you have 360 Payments DO NOT have 360 Payments void/refund the payment before you do this within Shop Boss. If 360 Payments voids/refunds the payment first it will lock the payment within Shop Boss and the payment will not be able to be deleted within Shop Boss.

 

**(RO must be Open in order to make changes)**

 

 

 

 

 

Important Tip-

Make sure if using a Credit Card Processor, to double check with them to ensure the

Transaction is refunded, then continue the steps below.

 

 

 

To delete a payment.

  • Go into the RO.
  • Click on the Green Revisions / Payments / Fees / More. 

 

 

This will open up a drop down menu.

 

  • Click Payments 

 

  • Click Delete.

 

This will Delete the payment from Shop Boss and return the RO to full balance due.

Close RO as normal.

 

 

 

Refund (With 360 Payments) 

 **Double check with the Credit Card Processing company to make sure the payment is fully refunded**

 

Go into the RO  

  •  Revisions / Payments / Fees / More

 

  • Click Payments

 

  • Click Refund

 

Enter the amount of the refund that is needed. 

 

Close RO as normal.

 

**If a password is needed for refunds please follow the below to get the password: 

Settings--> Integrations--> click on 360 there is a red button for void/refund password. There must be a password entered into the system.**

 

 

How to Void a Payment

 

To Void a payment, follow the same steps as above. This time click on Void. 

 

If you are integrated with 360 Payments you are able to void the payment within Shop Boss as well as through 360 Payments as long as the payment is voided before you batch at the end of the day. 

 

 

This will Void the whole transaction.
