Adding Parts to a Repair Order

Adding Parts to an RO.

 

Inside a Repair Order, each vehicle issue has a series of buttons you can use to add information to that particular vehicle issue.  To add a part, click Parts

 

 

  • A separate window will appear with a list of all Inventory and Non- Inventory Parts previously applied to Repair Orders.  
  • If you are using an inventoried part, you can scroll down the list, or type in partial information on the search line to bring up results.
  • Click on the desired part. Verify the information in the window is correct. Add and Core charge, or change Supplier if needed. 

 

 

To add a new part, click the Add New Part button. It can be found at the top right of screen.  A new window will appear:

  

 

Enter in: 

1. Part Number 

2. Part Description

3. Matrix Category

4. Quantity 

5. Shop Cost 

6. Save Part or Save and Add Another Part 

 

(NOTE: Override Matrix Price defaults to NO. This means your Price Parts Matrix will be used to calculate cost to the customer.  To see more about the Price Parts Matrix click this link: https://shopboss.happyfox.com/kb/article/22-using-the-parts-price-matrix/ )

 

 

****Core Charge, PO #, and Supplier are not required fields, but there for you to keep track of records
